Custom Shielding - Design & Fabrication
Behind every shielding application there is a story to tell. One of our favorites was working with the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory. Contracted by NASA to design and build atomic clocks for space exploration to test Einstein's Theory of Relativity. MuShield's role was to provide them with carefully constructed shields that were used to maintain the precision of the atomic clocks. Working with minds like this is an honor, as is every opportunity to create a shield design that works.

Heat Treating
Parts and materials are heat treated on-site for every magnetic shield manufactured by MuShield. The goal is to attain the maximum shielding capacity or permeability for that part while maintaining its dimensional and structural integrity.
